A script in this movie is making Adobe flash run slowly do you want to abort
the script?
update 20081218
So I attempted to launch 2.0.0.18 and 3.0.4 launched instead. This is major suckage.
I tried it twice. Then I found out that v. 2.0.0.18 had been converted to 3.0.4 after the
instance of Firefox in the main directory had been copied to a USB disk and that
disk was dismounted.
This borders on criminal behavior
New release of v. 3.0.4 came out today or recently. (today = 20081215)
I looked at an instance of v. 3.0.x today and started to type a URL into
the location field and saw FireFox present in the drop down menu of
Firefox's choices of what it thinks the URL and I noticed two lines of
text for each entry. This is one line too many. I spend too much time
watching the spinning beach ball. Is this where my processor cycles are
going? I want them back. Eviscerate FireFox to remove this one of many
features added int the rampant over feature-itus that FireFox has
undergone. Give me the option of disabling these extra features so I
can get my processor cycles back.
v.2.0.0.18 has also been downloaded, will test if I have occasion to restart
FireFox which is at 2.0.0.17 --
I might try runnung FireFox 3.0.4 and 2.0.0.18 simultaneously -- two instances
of a compiler runnung simultaneously caused when stepping through both with
a debugger confused them.
The process of adding bookmarks (v. 3.0.3) is ten times harder with the new format
for adding bookmarks. I went back to v. 2.0.0.16
