I wrote a calculator program. Programmable emulator for HP-15C
While building it feature creep set in and I developed a first person
shooter primitive game which I later factored into the calculator and the game
To build the game I taught myself perspective 3D graphics. I won an award
for it at MacHack in 1997 and used it when being interviewed for a job at
Apple for which I was hired.
I was fired 10 weeks later for which I must conclude was because I have
Asperger's Syndrome
A consequence of being fired led me to find out about Asperger's Syndrome
which I had never heard of.
I just recently found out what I have known in retrospect most of my life is that:
No one considers autistics employable
or stated differently
Everyone considers autistics unemployable
But I degress
