Using this machine combination I had lifted the root ball and on the cart moved it as far as I could encountering obstructions. It was Tuesday night and weather report indicated rain for Wedesday and the root ball needed to be in the ground before rainfall.
I had one 12 foot T-beam and had two others at home and had loaded them on the roof rack of the car along with a 10' section of Unistrut which I would use to connect the apexes of the two tripods once I had assembled them. I was parked on the South side of the street in front of my house so I placed the car in reverse and backed down the street to the intersection proceeding quickly as a car was coming and I did not want to wait for it. I stopped to shift from reverse to turn right noticing when I turned around that a police cruiser was sitting there with enough lights lit up enough to induce an epileptic seizure in someone susceptible to that. It was a police cruizer that I wanted to beat to the intersection.
"Turn off your car", I did.
"Exit the vehicle", I did.
