C
I needed to move the engine, so I thought that two of the tripods of the type I had set up numerous times for many different reasons would work in this case if I connected the vertices with another beam of the type I constructed to make the tripods and used two cable winches

 S
here I am lifting the engine with the first tripod and cable winch

 U

 H
now I connect the second cable winch to the second tripod

 T
now I connect the winch to the motor and take up the slack

 W
I release cable on the first winch and the engine moves in the direction I want it to move

 I
here the engine is half way between the tripods

 T
I have taken down the first tripod and moved it to the opposite side of the second

 L
here the engine is suspended midway between the tripods. The haze is the smoke from Wireman's pipe

 O
the engine is now below the third placement of the tripod

 L

 O

 M
the engine has been lowered from beneath the fourth placement of the tripod onto a dolly

 F
here is the engine on the dolly in the "garage"

 G
here the dolly is shown
