While I was working on the calculator project a fellow posted a job on the BMUG bulletin board stating they wanted someone to code for a Virtual Reality project. I contacted them and as a result I taught myself 3D-perspective computer graphics and coded an app which won me an award at MacHack in 1997. I used this when getting hired at one of the contracts I had at Apple.

I received my Biotechnology Certificate from CCSF. One of the things I did while doing this is clone the lux genes out of Vibrio fischeri into a highly mutated stain of E. coli
